Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says he is still hard at work trying to bring in new players to the squad.
Warnock has so far added Portsmouth defender Jason Pearce to his squad since the end of last season and he has agreed a deal with Norwich City defender Adam Drury to sign on July 1st.
The Leeds boss says he is working hard to bring in a number of players before the side travel to the West Country for their five-day tour in July.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "I have not been sat doing nothing.
Believe it or not, it has been very hard work. I have been talking to players, and I have missed out on the odd one.
"I am looking to bring quite a number in over the next couple of weeks. Behind the scenes, they are trying to get me the resources to do it. The sooner we can get them in the better and if there is a chance of getting someone in then they will be signed.
"You just have to do your best. I think the fans know I am working as hard as I can to get what we all want and that is a successful team and only time will tell.
"I am working as hard as I have ever done to put a team together. I am going to need support and I am hoping the support will be there."
Leeds return to training for the 2012/13 season in July before starting their pre-season campaign with a five-day trip to the West Country, where they will play Tavistock, Bodmin and Torquay. Warnock is hoping to have the players in before they depart for the West Country, for their first game on July 23rd. "It would be nice if we can have the players in before we go down to the West Country. We will be training morning, afternoon and playing at night. , it is not as if we will just be playing a few games and having a jolly, it will be hard work.
"It would be nice if we can get the majority of players in for then and that is what I am hoping will happen."
Leeds continue to be strongly linked this week with goalkeeper Paddy Kenny who has played for Warnock previously at Bury, Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers.
