Young Leeds United defender Tom Lees has signed a new improved deal at Elland Road.
The 21 year old has signed a new four-year deal with Leeds, keeping him with the club until 2016 after an impressive breakthrough season at Elland Road.
Lees made 45 appearances for Leeds last season and boss Neil Warnock says he was one of the 'bright sparks` at the club after taking over in February.
The defender only signed a new deal with the club last September and it is his third new deal at Elland Road in the past 18 months.
Lees is the first current Leeds player to sign a new deal at the club this summer.
Adam Clayton has turned down his new offer and Ross McCormack and Aidy White are both expected to turn down the new contracts that have been offered to them by Neil Warnock.
Club captain Robert Snodgrass has admitted that he is to take his time before deciding on the contract offered to him that would make him the highest earner at the club.
Lees fellow youngster Zac Thompson and veteran midfielder Michael Brown have also been offered new deals at Elland Road.
Leeds have also included the option of a further year on his new deal.
