LUFC Leeds United v Leicester City Team News

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock will welcome back Michael Brown to the squad for the visit of Leicester City on Saturday.

Brown returns after serving a three-match suspension for his sending off against Derby County over Easter.

Warnock will have to make a change in defence from the side that started the game at Cardiff City last weekend.

Leigh Bromby was forced off early after rupturing his patella tendon and he is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Leeds will once again be without Patrick Kisnorbo, Aidy White, Davide Somma, Billy Paynter and Robbie Rogers with long-term injuries.

Leicester City have been rocked by the news that midfielder Richie Wellens is expecting to miss the start of next season after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury in the game with West Ham on Monday.

Fellow midfielder Andy King could be a doubt after being substituted at half time

Striker Martyn Waghorn returned from a long-term injury with a substitutes appearance against West Ham and he will once again be amongst the squad.

Fellow striker Darius Vassell also returned to the squad against West Ham after his own long-term injury.

Paul Gallagher is unlikely to feature after the tragic death of his newly born baby son Luca on Monday and his twin sister Amelia still in intensive care. (Vital Leeds sends their deepest sympathy to Paul Gallagher and his family).

There will be two familiar faces in the Leicester side. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and striker Jermaine Beckford both return to Elland Road for the first time since leaving the club in recent seasons.
