LUFC Leeds to release O'Dea
Leeds United have decide to not offer on loan defender Darren O`Dea a full time contract according to Yorkshire Post reporter Richard Sutcliffe.
Sutcliffe says on his twitter page that Leeds have released the defender who is only eligible for the last game of the season now following his sending off in midweek.
Neil Warnock had indicated in recent weeks that he wanted to offer the Republic of Ireland international defender a full time contract but his recent sending off against Blackpool saw him criticised by both Warnock and chairman Ken Bates publicly.
O`Dea has spent the season on loan from Glasgow Celtic and made 38 appearances for the club this season.

I for one am glad to see he shot himself in the foot with his sending off. If we want to be serious about promotion next season we cannot afford a liability like O'Dear at the back.
