LUFC Pick up a profit on Paynter?

Leeds United travel to Blackpool this evening with striker Billy Paynter hoping to build on his two goals he scored in the weekend win over Peterborough United.

Leeds have nothing but pride left to play for with their play-off hopes all but over whilst Blackpool are still hoping to gain one of the four places in the end of season lottery.

Ladbrokes have Blackpool clear favourites at 4/6 to claim all three points whilst Leeds are 4/1 to return to Yorkshire with all three points.

A draw would ensure Blackpool will stay in the play-off places with just two games remaining and it is 11/4 on the points being shared.

Paynter made his first start for Leeds this season at the weekend and he will be hoping to continue where he left off. The striker scored his first ever Leeds goal just down the road at Preston last season and he is 8/1 to score the opening goal.

Ross McCormack was also back amongst the goals at the weekend when he scored twice. The striker needs just one goal for twenty goals this season and he is 7/1 to score first.

Stephen Dobbie has been amongst the goals for Blackpool since signing on loan from Swansea City.

Dobbie has netted four times in five games and he is 9/2 to open the scoring.

Blackpool are hoping to welcome back leading goalscorer Kevin Phillips back to the squad this evening after injury and the veteran striker is 9/2 to score first.
