LUFC Warnock to continue White talks next week

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock is continuing his plans for next season by holding further talks with Aidy White next week.

The young defender who came through the clubs academy system is out of contract in the summer and Warnock expects to sit down with White on Monday.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "I have spoken to Aidy about it and I will be speaking to his father and a liaison next week regarding his contract. It will probably be Monday, before we go into the Blackpool game on Tuesday."

Warnock has already revealed that he has offered Captain Robert Snodgrass a new deal and plans sit down with leading goalscorer Ross McCormack and midfielder Adam Clayton in the near future. "I wanted to get on with Snodgrass and Aidy first. I have spoken to McCormack and Clayton but I do not think we have actually got down to it at the moment but I will do," added Warnock.

Both McCormack and Clayton are contracted to Leeds until the summer of 2013 and Warnock will be keen to extend their deals has he looks to build a squad capable of winning promotion next season.
