LUFC Leeds fans view v Watford

LUFC Leeds fans view v Watford

Tiny T once again gives us his fans view from the game at Elland Road.

Tiny gives us his views on the player`s performance in the games at Elland Road and being a season ticket holder he has had to witness all of Leeds nine defeats at home this season.

This time he had to witness another abject performance in the 2-0 defeat at the hands of Watford.

Lonergan 7
He stood little chance with either goal. He kept us in the game with some outstanding saves.

Connolly 3
Passing poor, tackling weak, two yellows had Warnock accusing him of not wanting to play against Reading.
Wife wants to go shopping that day does she?

Lees 6
Tackled and put his body on the line as the defence struggled to keep Watford at bay. One slip from a poor pass by Connolly nearly gifted Watford a second but was rescued by his central defensive partner and Lonergan

Bruce 7 Star man
He was our best player at both ends of the field. He used three shirts due to a possible broken nose, tackled and blocked for all he was worth.

Robinson 4
A stupid back heel gave Watford the chance to get the first. He got better as the game went on.

Snodgrass 3
Not at the races

Clayton 3
Missing In Action

Brown 3
Plodded along

White 3
He needs to play at left back.

Becchio 4
He struggled against a big defence. He was kicked, pushed, and got little protection from the referee.

McCormack 3
Nothing from our leading scorer. We needed him to work for the team. Something he does not do when the going gets tough.

Subs
Webber 4

Brighter when he came on, though we needed width and he was in the middle.

Nunez 6
He looked lively and interested.

Forssell
He was not on long enough.

Summary
Abject, Abysmal, lacking Passion, work rate Etc... Etc….

Bruce and Lees had probably their busiest afternoon as Watford came from everywhere they struggled but never stopped unlike most of their so-called teammates.

Midfield is short on pace and ideas and bottled most tackles all afternoon, it is time for a change.

Clayton and Brown were running as if in a paddy field and looked like a 50cc Moped when we need a minimum of a 500cc.

Snodgrass is a shadow of the player we know and White is out of position.

The team has no width at one stage we had all the strikers within 10yards of one another all marked and the ball had to go backwards.

Warnock`s comments after the game said it all 'who would pay to watch drivel like that'

He has problems and can now give others the chance to prove themselves with the Play-offs gone.

Looking forward, it is Reading next and some players may be able to go shopping with their wives, others may be given the chance to prove they are the future.

We could see some of the younger ones given a chance even if it is only from the bench.
