LUFC Warnock - Ross was a nuisance

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock said striker Ross McCormack was a nuisance to the Millwall defence following his solitary strike in the 1-0 win at Millwall secured three valuable points for Leeds.

McCormack netted his seventeenth goal of the season on 65 minutes from close range and he could have had more as he proved a constant threat in the Leeds attack.

Warnock said that they had spoken with Ross prior to the game and asked him to be more positive.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "We asked Ross to be a little more positive today and I thought he was a nuisance. He has to be like that.

"We don`t have the pace to go over the top, so we have to play around him. I don`t think he could have worked any harder."

McCormack`s goal was his first for Leeds since the arrival of Warnock and his first in eight games, his longest goal drought of the season.
