LUFC Warnock - They are playing for their shirt

Leeds United manager Neil Warnock says the players have to show him they want to be part of his squad at Elland Road.

Leeds travel to Millwall on Saturday looking to bounce back from the 7-3 home defeat to Nottingham Forest in midweek and Warnock says the players are playing for their shirts and it is up to them to show him they want to stay. Speaking on the official website , Warnock said, "It is an opportunity for the players to show what they have got down there on Saturday.

"The players are playing for their shirts and Saturday is an opportunity to say 'I want to stay`."

Despite the midweek defeat Leeds are still just six points outside the play off places with top of the table Southampton the only winners in the top half of the table on Tuesday and Wednesday night.
