Leeds United manager Neil Warnock says time is running out for the club to put a run together that could move them into the play-off places.
Leeds were denied three crucial points when West Ham equalised in the final minute of the game at Elland Road on Saturday and Warnock feels with just nine games remaining it is becoming almost impossible to put a winning run together.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "The games are running out and not many teams win five or six on the trot. We are going to have to win seven out of nine.
"It is almost becoming impossible if we don`t put a run together."
Leeds have now won just two of their previous eight games and just one in Warnock`s five games in charge.
West Ham`s last minute equaliser on Saturday stopped Leeds from making it back to back wins for the first time since beating Nottingham Forest and Millwall in November and December.
Leeds are five points outside the play-off places and will need to win around seven of their last nine games to stand any chance of making the end of season play-offs.
Five of Leeds last nine games are at home but they have managed just four wins in their last thirteen games at home and have one of the worst home records in the championship.
Leeds face four tough looking away games between now and the end of the season. They face Millwall on Saturday who have been a thorn in Leeds side at the New Den in the last three seasons and they also face games against fellow promotion hopefuls Reading, Blackpool and Cardiff.
Relegation threatened Nottingham Forest visit Elland Road on Tuesday night in a must win game for Leeds.
