LUFC Premier League referee in charge

Premier League referee Peter Walton will take charge of the clash at Elland Road this weekend between Leeds United and West Ham United.

The Northamptonshire official has taken charge of 19 games so far this season, showing 62 yellow cards (3.26 per game) and 2 reds.

Last season he took charge of 33 games, showing 110 yellow cards (3.33 per game) and 9 reds.

This will be the first time he has taken charge of Leeds since the 2009/10 season when they were beaten 1-0 at Southampton.

His last game in charge of West Ham was last season when they drew 1-1 at home with Blackburn in May.
