Leeds United midfielder Michael Brown felt it was a solid performance in the 2-0 win at Middlesbrough.
The win for Leeds was their first under new manager Neil Warnock and Brown felt the performance was really pleasing.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Brown said, "I think we looked solid and I think we looked comfortable.
The last few weeks we haven`t got any goals, so it has been a bit worrying. "People were saying we had learnt how to stop them and needed to start scoring again.
Two goals away from home at a team like Middlesbrough, a team who are flying high in the league and are serious contenders for promotion is really pleasing."
Brown has been a rejuvenated player since the arrival of his former boss Warnock to Elland Road.
The veteran midfielder played for Warnock at Sheffield United, helping them to promotion to the Premier League and he has earned the plaudits with his hard working displays in the four games since Warnock arrived.
Brown struggled under former manager Simon Grayson after arriving in the summer on a one-year deal from Portsmouth.
The 34 year old has formed a hard working partnership in the centre of midfield alongside Adam Clayton and it is has much their displays in the middle that has helped protect an overworked defence prior to Warnock`s arrival.
His lung-bursting run in the closing minutes of the game to be on the end of a Danny Webber run, epitomised his hard work in the Leeds midfield.
