LUFC Bates - We have turned corner under Warnock

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates says he feels the club have turned the corner under new boss Neil Warnock despite still looking for their first win after three games in charge.

Bates feels that the problems in defence are being sorted and having reduced the deficit on the team currently in the last play-off place to five points, Bates is looking forward to an interesting run in to the season.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Bates said, "On balance, if you look at the three games since Neil took over, we have drawn two and lost one but our leaky defence has conceded just one goal in three games.

"Overall, I think we have turned the corner. The results last night, by and large went our way. We have reduced the deficit to five points against the play-off places and it could make it interesting going into the run in."
