LUFC Lonergan - We now have a Warnock mentality

Leeds United goalkeeper Andy Lonergan says the players now have a new mentality under new boss Neil Warnock.

Lonergan helped Leeds keep their second clean sheet in three games since Warnock`s arrival and he says the players have built into the 'Neil Warnock mentality.`

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Lonergan said, "It is very pleasing. We now have a Neil Warnock mentality` of not conceding and being horrible to play against.

"I appreciate for the fans, it was not the best game to watch, it was a tough game, tough place and on a horrible pitch."

Lonergan was on top form for Leeds as Hull pressed hard for an opening goal during the first half.

He made one great stop to deny Corey Evans as well as a number of other saves as Leeds held out.

Adam Clayton probably had Leeds best chance in a tight game but he fired wide in the closing minutes of the game.
