LUFC Warnock praises Lonergan

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock praised goalkeeper Andy Lonergan after he kept his second clean sheet away from home in a row with some good saves as the game finished 0-0 at Hull City.

Robert Snodgrass replaced Lonergan as Leeds captain on the arrival of Warnock and the keeper looks to be returning to his best form.

Lonergan made a number of good saves close to half time with the best keeping out an effort from Corey Evans.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "He has done well, he has trained hard and he is a good lad to have at the back and you can see why tonight."

Leeds have now conceded just one goal in the three games played since the arrival of Warnock but are still waiting to score their first goal after drawing another blank.
