LUFC Hull v Leeds Form Guide

LUFC Hull v Leeds Form Guide

Vital Leeds looks at the form of both Hull City and Leeds United ahead of the game at the KC Stadium this evening.

Hull
The tigers are unbeaten in their last seven games in the championship following a 1-1 draw at Blackpool on Friday night.

Despite their unbeaten run, they have won just one of their last five games.

So far this season at home they have won nine, drawn two and lost five.

They have conceded just one goal in their last seven games and have not conceded in the championship at the KC Stadium in 404 minutes since Derby beat them 1-0 on January 2nd.

In their last home game they drew 0-0 with Brighton to make it three 0-0 score lines in their last five games having also shared goalless draws with Doncaster at home and Birmingham away.

Hull have conceded just 13 goals at home this season with just Birmingham (8), Crystal Palace (10), Portsmouth (11) and Southampton (12) having better defensive records.

There have been just 32 goals in their 16 home games this season.

They have conceded just 26 goals this season, the best defensive record in the championship.

Hull are currently in 9th place with 52 points from 32 games.

Leeds
The whites are still looking for their first win under manager Neil Warnock.

Leeds were beaten 1-0 at home by Southampton on Saturday and have yet to score since Warnock took over having drawn 0-0 in their last away game at Portsmouth the previous week.

The 0-0 draw at Portsmouth was their first goalless draw on the road since their game at Reading in 2010 a run of 30 games.

If Leeds fail to score this evening it will be the first time they have failed to score in three games in a row since March/April 2010.

So far this season away from home, Leeds have won six, drawn five and lost six.

They have won just one of their last seven away games when they won 3-0 at Bristol City in February.

Leeds have scored 27 goals on their travels so far this season with only Blackpool 30 scoring more.

They have won just one of their last five championship games.

Leeds have scored ten goals this season in time added on for stoppages at the end of the game, the most by any club in the championship.

Only Southampton (61) and Blackpool (57) have scored more goals than Leeds (52) this season.

36 of Leeds 52 goals this season have come in the second half and they have the best second half record in the championship.

Hull are the only side above Leeds in the championship that Leeds have beaten so far this season when they won 4-1 back in August.

Of the other eight teams above Leeds and Hull in the championship, Leeds have taken just 3 points from a possible 33.

Leeds are currently in 10th place with 49 points from 34 games.
