LUFC Warnock - I can't see us reaching play-offs

Leeds United boss Neil Warnock doesn`t think Leeds will be able to make it into the play off places after going down to a 1-0 home defeat to Southampton.

Warnock feels that with games running out, he cannot see the sides above them dropping enough points for Leeds to claim a play-off place.

Leeds are six points outside the play off places with just twelve games remaining and with most of the sides above them having games in hand it is now looking a tall order.

Being interviewed after the game on Sky Sports, Warnock was asked whether he felt Leeds could still reach the play offs. "I wouldn`t think so no. I would imagine other teams will get their results as well."

Leeds next three games are against sides currently above them in the championship table.

They face local games at Hull City and Middlesbrough in the next week before returning to Elland Road for a home game with West Ham.

Leeds would probably need to win nine of their remaining twelve games to stand any chance of reaching the play offs this season.
