Leeds United boss Neil Warnock will be without Alex Bruce for the game with table toppers Southampton at the weekend.
Bruce suffered a hamstring injury in the draw at Portsmouth last weekend and is expected to be out for the next few weeks.
Mika Vayrynen will also be out of the squad after undergoing surgery on a groin injury.
New signing Danny Webber will be added to the squad after arriving on a short-term deal this week.
Billy Paynter is pushing for a place in the side after scoring twice in a behind closed doors friendly in the week. Paynter hasn`t featured since the opening day of the season at Southampton and he returned to the squad last weekend for the first time since the game at St Mary`s Stadium.
Davide Somma and Patrick Kisnorbo remain on the sidelines with long-term injuries.
Southampton influential duo Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana hope to be fit in time for the game after picking up knocks in the win over Watford last weekend.
Former Leeds defender Frazer Richardson is also hoping to shake of an injury in time to face his former club.
Guly Di Prado is also a doubt through injury as the league leaders hope to continue their push towards the Premier League.
