Warnock - Everyone needs to get behind the team

New Leeds United boss Neil Warnock is looking for everyone to get behind the team in the closing months of the season as he looks to make a late push for the play-offs.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Warnock said, "It is an opportunity now to put to bed the differences with the problems that you have had over the last few months and everyone get behind the team.

"We only have fourteen games left for heaven`s sake. It is a great club when that happens and that is what I would like to do."

Leeds are currently tenth in the championship table, five points outside the play-off places.

Their destiny could still be in their own hands as seven of their fourteen remaining fixtures are against sides currently above them in the championship table.

Leeds travel to struggling Portsmouth on Saturday, before they face four teams currently above them in the championship.

The top two, West Ham and Southampton both have to come to Elland Road whilst they face trips to Hull City and Middlesbrough.

Leeds then have to travel to Reading, Blackpool and Cardiff City in April, as they will have to do it the hard way if they are to get into the play-off places.
