Bates - Warnock makes me feel ten years younger

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates says new manager Neil Warnock is making him feel ten years younger.

Bates appointed Warnock as the new Leeds boss after a meeting in Monaco last Friday along with chief executive Shaun Harvey.

The 80 year old says that Warnock is having a huge impact on the atmosphere at the club and following their first conversation, he admitting to his wife Suzannah that it made him feel ten years younger.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Bates said, "In my first conversation with him, he rang me when I was at home, I went into the bedroom, and we had a talk. I came out and I said "Suzannah, that man has just made me feel 10 years younger." That is the impact that he is having on the dressing room.
As an aside from a local, loyal wife, her immediate reaction was "God help us!"
