LUFC Bates - It will be an interesting ten weeks

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates is predicting an interesting last ten weeks of the season under new manager Neil Warnock.

Bates feels the club still have a chance of reaching the end of season play-offs; something Warnock has plenty of experience of during his managerial career.

The Leeds chairman says the players are buzzing under their new manager and he feels anything can happen with fourteen games remaining.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Bates said, "We`re still in with a reasonable chance and it`s up to us and just the way the players are buzzing at the moment, I think it shall be very interesting 10 weeks until the end of the season.

Leeds are currently in tenth place in the championship, five points off the play-off places.

The midweek results have so far gone against Leeds with both Birmingham City and Middlesbrough losing.

West Ham beat Blackpool at Bloomfield Road, a result that sees the hammers return to the top of the championship table.

8th against 9th clash at the KC Stadium this evening when Hull City host Brighton and Hove Albion.
