LUFC Leeds Fans view v Doncaster Rovers

LUFC Leeds Fans view v Doncaster Rovers

Tiny T gives us his usual fans view, this time following the dramatic late win over Doncaster Rovers.

Lonergan 3

He was at fault for the first goal. His all-round distribution is slow, his kicking is woeful and usually in the wrong direction.

Bruce 4
Tough task to come in at right back for his first game in months but did not do too bad.

Lees 4
Looked a little better than of late and the better of the two centre halves.

O'Dea 2
Time for someone else. It shows how bad the rest are when he keeps getting a game.

White 3
Little chance to get forward and had the task of keeping ' Spitter ' Diouf in check.

Snodgrass 5
He was woeful first half, more involved in the second when moved into the hole behind the strikers. He needs to put the ball in the box rather than beat the same player again, too greedy at times.

Clayton 3
Scored, but missing in action for most of the game.

Pugh 2
Like his playing partner went missing.

Townsend 3
Scored but like most of the midfield, AWOL for long periods.

McCormack 5
He worked hard but little service to work off.

Becchio 5 Star man
Toiled away up front and got the winner.

Subs
Brown 3

He did little to change it in the middle.

Rodgers
Hope the lad is ok after a nasty clash of heads. Doubt he will remember his debut or which country he is in.

Forssell
His backside set up the winner.

Summary
We never got going at all in the first half. The second offered some improvement with 3 goals that had quality in the finishing, but were only papering over the cracks

Donny were as bad as us at defending when put under pressure.

The Central area of midfield is supposed to be the engine room of any team and ours is running on donkey power at the moment with Clayton, Pugh or whoever is in there offering very little in the way of invention or graft this needs sorting urgently, better teams will slaughter us.

We have no leader on the park and having the keeper as Captain is a waste of time as he talks very little and needs to concentrate on his own game with the errors he keeps making. Rachubka is back at the Club and must be passing on some tips.

O'Dea keeps getting the shirt and I'm clueless as to why our other centre backs must be even worse if he keeps getting a game,

I am hoping we don't make him a permanent signing in the summer. We need an organiser at the back, which can only help Lees and White.

The referee again did not control the game and missed O'Dea and Diouf squaring up at a corner late in the game why have all refs got small man syndrome.

What happened in the tunnel after the game Police and stewards went from all quarters of the ground no doubt a fine and possible bans on the way.

On a positive note, the three goals we got all were quality finishes and we picked up 3 points.

I would like to thank Neil Redfearn for stepping into the breach for the few games he has had. It is back to the Academy, let us hope he is producing gems for the future.
