LUFC Redfearn looking for response

LUFC Redfearn looking for response

Leeds United caretaker manager Neil Redfearn is looking for a response from the players after back-to-back defeats in the last week.

Leeds suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Brighton last Saturday and it was followed by a poor performance at bottom of the league Coventry City in midweek when they lost by the same scoreline.

Redfearn is now hoping to see a response from the players as they welcome Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers to Elland Road.

Speaking on the official website, Redfearn said, "The players here have always responded to setbacks in the past and that`s what I will be looking for from them on Saturday."

Redfearn could be taking charge of his last game in temporary charge of Leeds on Saturday.

The club stated last week that he would be in charge until at least the Doncaster game whilst the club deliberated about the successor to Simon Grayson who was dismissed after three years at the club on February 1st.

Neil Warnock is now the clear favourite with the bookmakers to take over at Elland Road.
