Redfearn - Keep winning and you keep the shirt

Neil Redfearn says the players currently wearing the shirts have it to lose and all they have to do is keep winning to keep it.

Redfearn made two changes last weekend to the side that Simon Grayson put out in his last game in charge.

New loan signing Adam Smith replaced youngster Zac Thompson at right back and Aidan White replaced Andros Townsend on the left.

The team started with a 3-0 win at Bristol City and Redfearn says it is quite simple, keep winning and you will keep your place in the side.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Redfearn said, "The lads that do well and are winning, they have got the shirts.

"If they keep winning, they keep the shirts. It is as simple as that, it is not complicated."

Redfearn has an almost fully fit squad to choose from for Saturday`s game with Brighton at Elland Road.

Davide Somma and Patrick Kisnorbo are the only ones definitely out as they remain on the sidelines with long-term injuries.

Andy O`Brien is still short of fitness having not played since the start of November. O`Brien missed the chance earlier this week for some much needed match practice when a behind closed doors friendly with Middlesbrough was called off due to a frozen pitch.
