LUFC Redfearn not intending to use loan window

Leeds United caretaker manager Neil Redfearn says he doesn`t intend to bring in any emergency loan players in and believes he has got the right players at club to do well.

The emergency loan window opened again this week but Redfearn says he does not intend to bring more loan players into the club.

Redfearn is in temporary charge at the moment following the sacking of Simon Grayson last week and he has been told that he will be in charge for at least the next three games.

Redfearn says it is now up to the players to show him what they can do and he is to give them every chance.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Redfearn said, "I think we have got about 28/29 players. We have a big squad and I think to be honest, these lads have the chance now and responsibility to go prove that we are good enough.

"I think we are more than good enough with what we have. You have to work with the players you have and have to give them that chance.

Redfearn has an almost fully fit squad for the weekend`s game with Brighton with only Patrick Kisnorbo and Davide Somma definitely missing through injury.

Another reason for Bates to employ him. He's certainly saying all the right things for old tight wad.

Bates will be loving this. He might already have got the job with these comments.
