Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn says he is keeping the players focused ahead of the game with Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
Redfearn took over from Simon Grayson last week following Grayson`s sacking from the club and with all the off field distractions, Redfearn is concentrating on keeping the lads focused and plotting the downfall of Brighton on Saturday.
Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Redfearn said, "The most important thing is the lads are focused.
"They have had a high intensity first couple of days this week. They have worked hard. They got Wednesday off and have a breather, and then Thursday and Friday, we will concentrate on the game on Saturday and we will plan Brighton`s downfall.
"It is just a case of keeping them going and keeping them focused."
A number of players have come out in support of Redfearn since his appointment as caretaker boss, saying he would be a good appointment full time.
The experienced Redfearn has been with the club three years and has worked with most of the squad in one of his main roles as reserve team manager.
Redfearn has been given the opportunity to show is capabilities in the role after being told he will be in charge of the next three games by Leeds chairman Ken Bates.
He started last week with a 3-0 win over Bristol City to move Leeds back to within two points of the play off places.
His three games in charge will include Brighton and Doncaster at home as well as a trip to Coventry City.
