Bates - Different attitude and atmosphere at Leeds

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates says there is a different attitude and atmosphere around the dressing room since Neil Redfearn was placed in charge of the club last week.

Redfearn has taken over as caretaker manager from Simon Grayson following his sacking as the Leeds boss last Wednesday.

Bates believes the fact the players are all behind Redfearn has reflected in the atmosphere and attitude at the club and the players are working much harder in training.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Bates said, "I don`t need to say very much because the players themselves have been speaking.

"It is quite clear that there has been a different attitude and atmosphere in the dressing room and it is reflected in what they are saying.

"They are also working much harder during the week than what they have been doing recently and that will reflect on their fitness."
