LUFC Grayson hoping to have deals sorted by Monday

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson says ideally he will have any transfer dealing sorted by Monday night.

The transfer window closes on Tuesday evening at 11pm but Leeds, along with the rest of the championship are in league action that evening.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, "The window closes on Tuesday and, unusually, the deadline falls on an evening when there is a full Championship fixture programme.

'We've got plenty of time before Tuesday's game, and we'll see what happens and where things go.

'It'll be difficult on Tuesday because everyone will have a game."

Although Grayson is hoping to have any transfers in and out sorted by Monday, he says it may go down to the wire if the right player becomes available.

'Ideally you want it all doing by Monday night so you can concentrate on the game, but if it means going down to the last few hours because someone has become available then that's what you have to do,'continued the Leeds boss.

Ben Parker became the seventh player today to either arrive or leave the club during the transfer window after joining Carlisle United on loan until February 25th.
