Leeds United chairman Ken Bates says the funds are there for manager Simon Grayson to strengthen his squad and the fans will have to be patient as they are only interested in bringing in players who will make a huge improvement to the current squad.
Bates, speaking on Yorkshire Radio said, "The only players we want are the ones that are going to make an immeasurable improvement to Leeds United.
"The funds are there but they are not going to be spent willy-nilly. Fans will have to be patient; I know it is very frustrating, one of the biggest problems causing the frustration is the rumours and speculation that are printed on the websites, Facebook, Sky Sports, Sky Sports News and newspapers."
Leeds have brought in four players so far during this window.
Danny Pugh has completed his move from Stoke City on a two and a half year deal after spending the previous three months on loan with the club.
Young American international winger Robbie Rogers has signed an eighteen-month deal with the club with the option of a further year.
Andros Townsend (Tottenham Hotspur) and Fabian Delph (Aston Villa) have both joined the club on loan.
Townsend has joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season whilst Delph will remain at Elland Road until February 25th, although Leeds are hoping to extend this deal.
So far leaving Leeds, youngster Will Hatfield has had his contracted terminated by mutual consent and he has signed for non-league side Halifax Town.
Club captain Jonny Howson has signed a three and a half year deal with Premier League side Norwich City this week, in a deal worth to be a reported £2 million by Bates.
The transfer window closes in just under a week`s time on Tuesday January 31st at 11pm.
