Grayson - All to play for with 20 games remaining

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson says it is all to play for with twenty games remaining in the season.

Leeds have slipped down the championship table since the start of December and currently occupy eleventh place.

Despite their mid table position they are still just three points outside the play-off places and Grayson says it is really tight and the odd point could make a major difference.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, "You look how tight it is and we have said it all along that a victory, defeat or a draw can have teams overtake you. That is how it is going to be, it is going to be a 20 game season from now.

"Everybody can beat everybody and it is all to play for. Sometimes you can`t read too much into the table because, the odd point here or there can make a major difference to it all."

Leeds have won just one of their last six championship games and they will be hoping to continue where they left off last time at Elland Road when they entertain Ipswich Town on Saturday.

Last time out at home they beat Burnley 2-1 thanks to a goal deep into injury time by leading goalscorer Ross McCormack.

Leeds have struggled at home especially this season and have won just two of their last seven home games.

Of their last twenty games, Leeds have eleven at home and they will be hoping to make Elland Road a fortress again. They had lost just one at home in just over twelve months before being beaten by Blackpool at the start of November.

Goals have also been a problem, netting just eight goals in their last eight home games, this after netting nine times in their first four home games of the season.

He will be saying the same with ten games left when we are probably looking more nervously over our shoulders than looking at those above us.
