LUFC Leeds v Ipswich Team News

Robert Snodgrass could make his first start since Boxing Day as Leeds look to continue their good start to 2012 in the Championship.

Snodgrass made his first appearance in three games at Crystal Palace last weekend after recovering from surgery on his appendix.

The winger scored Leeds equaliser in the 1-1 draw.

Mikael Forssell could be pushing for a starting place after scoring in a behind closed doors friendly against Newcastle United in the week.

Forssell is still waiting for his first start since joining the club in September, having made nine appearances from the bench.

New signing Robbie Rogers is still not eligible to make his debut for the club.

The American international received his work permit this week but he still needs a Visa and international clearance.

Jonny Howson is still on the sidelines and is in negotiations with Norwich City over a move to Carrow Road after the two clubs agreed a fee for the club captain.

Davide Somma and Patrick Kisnorbo remain on the sidelines with his long-term injuries.

Leigh Bromby is closing in on a return to full fitness following a calf injury.

Ipswich Town could be boosted by the return of Jason Scotland, Grant Leadbitter and Damien Delaney who have all returned to training this week following injuries.

Former Leeds midfielder Lee Bowyer is unlikely to feature after suffering a groin injury in training.

Ibrahima Sonko is also expected to be out as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

Alex McCarthy makes a quick return to Elland Road having signed for Ipswich on loan at the start of the month.

The goalkeeper made six appearances for Leeds during two months on loan at the club in November and December.

He's got to start Snodgrass, I would put Pugh in the middle and drop Brown. He should also give Forsell a start. He has missed three good chances in the last three games but at least he's looked interested and been much more of a threat than Becchio in his few minutes on the pitch. What has happened to Becchio?
