LUFC Pugh buzzing following return to Leeds

LUFC Pugh buzzing following return to Leeds

Danny Pugh is delighted to be back at Elland Road for a second time and he says he is buzzing after signing a permanent deal earlier this month.

Pugh signed a two and a half year contract with Leeds at the start of January after spending three months at Elland Road on loan from Premier League side Stoke City.

The 29 year old is loving time back at Elland Road and is looking to start enjoying his football. Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Pugh said, "I`m absolutely buzzing, I have loved it since the first day I came back to the club. It has been great for me to get it all signed and sealed, I can relax now, start settling in more and start enjoying the football as much as I have been doing."

This is Pugh`s second spell at Elland Road. The versatile left sided player played for Leeds between 2004 and 2006, making 57 appearances.

Pugh has been an almost permanent figure in the side since arriving on loan towards the end of September, making his debut this season in the 3-3 draw at Brighton.

He has made 19 appearances this season and he scored on his home debut against Portsmouth and the trip to Doncaster Rovers next time out, but he has failed to score since.
