LUFC Fee agreed with Norwich for Howson

Leeds United have accepted a bid for club captain Jonny Howson from Premier League side Norwich City.

Howson is into the final six months of his current deal at Elland Road and had yet to agree a new deal with his boyhood club.

The midfielder has been on the sidelines at Elland Road since December after suffering a knee injury in the game with Millwall.

Howson is one of the longest serving players at Elland Road having come through the academy and he has made over 200 appearances for Leeds since making his debut during the 2006/07 season.

The 23 year old is now free to talk Norwich City and agree personal terms.

Thats it Bates sell the rest of our squad off as well and when you've sucked the last drop of lifeblood out of our club then F**K OFF back to monaco with your pockets filled

The player we were all expecting the team to be built around, with Snoddy White Lees the future looked bright, Lonergan added in the Summer added a decent Keeper to the team. But the rest are woefully not up to standard and with no money to spend its no suprise that quality has not been added to the squad, so what haapens they start to leave due to a lack of ambition at the Club, the stone has started to roll how many more will be going going ........

Well Tiny i would say Lees, Clayton, Snodgrass and possibly McCormack/Becchio for starters - some deluded fools postulate that by selling we will bring in quality replacements - if bargin bin, loanees or freebies are the order of the day then YES!! BATES OUT!!
dangerousman
Players will not want to come to Leeds now even if we suddenly splashed cash because we are showing no ambition by selling our main players.
dazza71
Bates intimated that Howsons agent was making plans for a summer free - so he's just pocketed the cash now rather than see him walk for nowt. bet grayson never sees a penny of it
simonfire1
It breaks me up to see our once great club being run in such a fashion - for all the money we have generated through transfers we should have brought players in of a similar standard if not better - this has clearly not been the case
