LUFC Leeds United v Ipswich Town Head To Head

Vital Leeds looks at the head-to-head record between Leeds United and Ipswich Town at Elland Road.

The two sides have met on 33 previous occasions with Leeds winning 16, Ipswich 7 and 10 draws.

Leeds have won just three of the last twelve encounters at Elland Road since 1988 and have not won any of the last four.

The first encounter between the two sides came during the 1954/55 season when Leeds won 4-1 thanks to two goals each from Harold Brook and Peter Vickers.

Ipswich enjoyed their first win on their next visit to Elland Road during the 1960/61 season when they won 5-2, which remains their highest win at Elland Road.

Leeds best win came during the 1994/95 season when Tony Yeboah scored a hat trick and a goal from Gary Speed helped Leeds to a 4-0 win.

The last time the two sides met the game finished 0-0 last season.
