LUFC Grayson - Back to the bread and butter

Leeds United get back to the ' bread and butter` of league action this weekend according to manager Simon Grayson after their annual trip to one of the big Premier League sides in the FA Cup.

Leeds lost at Arsenal on Monday night 1-0 with a only late Thierry Henry goal separating the sides.

Grayson is now focusing on the league with Leeds sat in eighth place in the championship going into the game at Crystal Palace, just one point outside the play off places.

Palace are enjoying a decent season after only just avoiding relegation last season. They could go above Leeds with a win at Selhurst Park on Saturday and they have one foot in the Carling Cup final at Wembley after beating Cardiff City 1-0 in the first leg of their semi-final on Tuesday evening.

Grayson is looking to build on the win against Burnley in their last championship game, after a poor run of results and he admits the game at Palace is a big game. Speaking on the official website, Grayson said, "It`s a big game at Palace and while we enjoyed Monday we`ve prepared properly for Saturday and what is our bread and butter."

The championship once again is proving to be wide open. Nine points separate Southampton and West Ham at the top and Leeds in eighth, whilst Barnsley in sixteenth place are just five points behind Leeds.
