LUFC Arsenal v Leeds Team News

Arsenal will welcome back Thierry Henry to the Arsenal squad for the FA Cup tie with Leeds United on Monday night.

The clubs all-time record goalscorer has signed on a short-term deal from American MLS Side New York Red Bulls and he could make his first start since leaving in 2007.

The Gunners are expected to rest leading goalscorer Robin Van Persie but they are without a whole host of players.

Gervinho is on African nation`s cup duty with Ivory Coast but striker Marouane Chamakh is available before departing for the same tournament.

Defender Johan Djourou will be missing after being sent off at Fulham last time out.

Arsenal are without a number of players through injury with Bacary Sagna, Thomas Vermaelen, Kieran Gibbs, Jack Wilshere, Andre Santos, Abou Diaby and Carl Jenkinson l all missing.

Leeds also have a number of players on the sidelines with only two central defenders fit for the game, although both have been struggling in recent weeks.

Darren O`Dea has not been fully fit over the festive period and Tom Lees should be available after missing the last two games with a head injury.

Patrick Kisnorbo has been ruled out for the season after picking up a knee injury in the win over Burnley last Monday and fellow defender Alex Bruce is a major doubt after finishing the game with a hamstring injury.

Leigh Bromby is also out with a calf injury and expected to be sidelined for around three weeks.

Leeds will once again be without skipper Jonny Howson and influential winger Robert Snodgrass.

Long-term injured Davide Somma is still a long way from a return after undergoing knee surgery in the summer.

Andros Townsend is available after being permission by his parent club Tottenham Hotspur to play.

Townsend joined on New Year`s Day and made an instant impression with a man of the match performance against Burnley.
