'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC Burnley to heap more misery on Grayson?

Burnley travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United on Monday with Leeds woefully out of form at the moment.

Leeds come into the game having lost their last three whilst Burnley have won three in a row and kept three clean sheets.

With this in mind, the 5/2 being offered by bookmaker Coral on a Burnley win, seems a huge price.

On Saturday, Barnsley were 7/4 to beat Leeds. It is not very often the bookies are wrong but they do seem to be missing the way Leeds are playing at the moment.

If any Leeds fans feel the urge to splash the cash on a home win on Monday, then there are available at 11/10 and it is 23/10 on a draw.

It is difficult to predict a first scorer for Leeds at the moment with changes to the starting line-up expected.

Luciano Becchio is the only Leeds striker to score in the last six games and he is 5/1 to open the scoring.

Ramon Nunez started at Barnsley and probably did just enough to hold onto his place on Monday.

The shoot on sight Honduran is 9/1 to score first.

For the visitors, Jay Rodriguez scored the opening goal between the two sides at Turf Moor in November and he is 7/1 to score first.

Martin Paterson is back to full fitness and he has scored in the two games over Christmas. The striker is 8/1 to score first.

Vital Leeds prediction
Cannot see us avoiding another defeat the way we are playing.
Burnley win 5/2
Paterson to score first 8/1.

Dazza surely you can't back Leeds to lose. That is against all my principles but that is a tempting price.

I dont know if Dazza will back Leeds to lose but if those prices are still true when I log on I will take it.
