Vital Leeds looks at the head-to-head record against Burnley over the years at Elland Road.
The two sides have met on 26 occasions with Leeds winning 16, Burnley 5 and 5 draws.
There have been 84 goals scored in the 26 games with Leeds netting 55 and Burnley 29 at an average of 3.23 goals per game.
The first encounter between the two sides came during the 1924/25 season when Burnley won a First Division encounter 2-0.
Leeds had to wait until the fourth encounter between the two for their first win when they won 2-1 during the 1928/29 season.
Leeds biggest ever win came during the 1968/69 season when they won 6-1. Ironically, it was just two months after losing the reverse fixture 5-1 at Turf Moor.
Burnley enjoyed their biggest win at Elland Road during the 1973/74 season when they won 4-1. It was Leeds only home defeat of the season as they went on to be crowned champions of England.
Leeds have won on the last three occasions at Elland Road, with Burnley failing to score in all three.
There had never been a goalless draw between the two sides. Leeds have only failed to score on two occasions, the last being in only the third encounter in 1927.
Burnley have failed to find the net on five occasions, with them all coming in their last ten visits
When the two sides met in April, Ross McCormack scored his first Leeds goal in a 1-0 win.
