LUFC Leeds Fans view v Barnsley

LUFC Leeds Fans view v Barnsley

Leeds United fan DesLondon gives us his second fans view of the season, this time after another woeful performance at Barnsley.

What a difference a month makes. The last time Des did the fans view, Leeds put in one of their performances of the season at Nottingham Forest.

Lonergan 6 Star Man by default
He did make some good saves

White 4
His pace is his saving grace but he needs to improve on his football skills and his positioning. Some of his passing was woeful

Kisnorbo 2
He was at fault for at least the first and he struggled against a pacey side

O`Dea 4
He struggled as well with the pace

Connolly 2
He struggled badly with pacey attackers. He is just not good enough

Nunez 5
Nunez looked threatening at times but he was muscled off the ball with ease. That said he looked our only dangerous player. He did set up Becchio for our consolation goal.

Brown 3
Brown could not cope with pace, resorted to fouling.

Vayrynen 2
I will be surprised if he ever plays again as he was hopeless

Pugh 3
Sub-standard rubbish, again another one could not cope with Barnsley.

McCormack 3
Was played wide and was ineffective but the three in the middle could not pass to him as they were simply not fit to wear the Grimsby shirt, never mind the Leeds shirt.

Keogh 2
He is not worth 50 pence; we must send him back ASAP. Pure rubbish

Clayton 4

Better but not good enough

Becchio 4
Scored a late consolation but the main notable thing about him was his hair was blonder than usual

We were rubbish, thousands of Leeds fans turned up and were very vocal but the players could not be bothered

Simon Grayson must be wondering why his players will not perform for him, or does he know something we are unaware of. They could not string two passes together

Thanks for your views Des.
