LUFC Grayson - Strikers need to start scoring

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is hoping his strikers can rediscover their striking boots after two games without a goal.

Strikers Luciano Becchio, Ross McCormack and Andy Keogh have netted just four goals between them in Leeds last fifteen games and Grayson is hoping they can return to their early season form that saw McCormack net ten goals in his first thirteen games of the season.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, "Strikers are judged on the goals that they score. Luciano against Derby, normally he scores that from five or six yards out.
"Strikers are judged on their goals and obviously, if we weren`t creating them, like we were against Derby, then I would be concerned but we do need to get one or two of them on a scoring run again."

Leeds have failed to score in their last two games, the first time this season.

If Leeds fail to score at Barnsley on Saturday, it will be the first time that they have failed to score in three consecutive games since their return to the championship.
