LUFC Derby v Leeds Head To Head

Vital Leeds looks at the head to head record between Derby County and Leeds United in the midlands over the years.

The two sides have a very close record at Derby. They have met on 54 occasions with Derby winning 21, Leeds 19 and 14 draws.

The first ever meeting between the sides came during the 1921/22 season when Derby won 2-0.

Leeds enjoyed their first victory the following season when they came away from the Baseball Ground with a 1-0 win.

It wasn`t until the two sides had met on thirteen occasions that they shared the points in a 2-2 draw during the 1937/38 season.

The two sides have met on ten occasions since Derby moved to Pride Park.

Derby have won four, Leeds three and there have been three draws.

When the two sides last met in April, Derby came from behind to win 2-1.

Leeds were in control of the game and deservedly took the lead through Max Gradel just before the hour.

This stirred Derby into life and within five minutes, they had turned the game around thanks to strikes from Joel Ward and Ben Davies.

Leeds have now failed to win in their last five visits, losing four and drawing one.
