LUFC Lees - We need to dig in

Leeds United defender Tom Lees is hoping that Leeds can maintain their position in the Play-off places as the side head into the busy festive period.

Leeds face Reading this Saturday before facing three games in a week over the festive period and Lees says the side must dig in and make the period a defining point of the season.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Lees said, "We have got to look at it as a defining point of the season. We have got to look at this month and think we have got to dig in for this month.
"If we can stay where we are, then that gives us a good chance for the final couple of months of the season to try to push on.
"I think we have got to forget how many games we have got and concentrate on staying where we are."

Leeds face two away games over Christmas period against Derby County and Barnsley before a home game against Burnley at the start of the New Year.

Derby did the double over Leeds last season and it will be the first meeting between the two sides this season.

Leeds played both Burnley and Barnsley in November, coming from behind to win 2-1 at Burnley before losing 2-1 at home to Barnsley the following week.
