LUFC Leeds v Reading Team News

Andy Lonergan will make his first start for Leeds United since October against Reading on Saturday.

The keeper has been sidelined since breaking a finger at Doncaster in October. He starts with on loan goalkeeper Alex McCarthy ineligible to play against his parent club.

Mika Vayrynen is also pushing for a start in midfield with Jonny Howson still on the sidelines.
The Finland international came off the bench to earn Leeds a penalty at Watford last weekend and he also scored in a midweek friendly.

Ben Parker continued his comeback from a long-term injury when he played in a midweek friendly but he is still not fit enough for a return to first team football.

Davide Somma remains on the sidelines with his long-term knee injury.

Jimmy Kebe is a doubt for the royals after picking up an injury in the win over West Ham last weekend.

Kebe was the victim of a crude tackle that saw West Ham player Jack Collison shown a straight red card.

Joseph Mills looks set to miss out again for Reading despite returning to full fitness.

Brynjar Gunnarsson will once again be out through injury.
