LUFC Early start for Leeds on final day

Leeds United will finish their season with an early start against Leicester City.

The final game of the season at Elland Road will now kick off at 12.30pm on Saturday April 28th.

All twelve games in the Football League Championship will kick off at the same time on the final day.

On a day when there are usually many ups and downs in the promotion and relegation battle, Leeds will be hoping to be in the mix at the top of the championship table.

Last season, Leeds missed out on a play off place on the final day, despite winning at champions Queens Park Rangers.

The last time Leeds finished the season at Elland Road, it proved to be a rollercoaster day, coming from behind to beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 with just ten men and secure promotion from League One.
