LUFC Leeds still waiting on Howson injury

Leeds United are still waiting for the results of the scan on the extent of the knee injury suffered by Jonny Howson at the weekend according to first team coach Ian Miller.

Howson was forced off during the first half of the win over Millwall on Saturday.

After lengthy treatment, Howson walked off the pitch but was unable to carry on and looks set to miss his first game through injury since Leeds returned to the championship in 2010.

Howson was the only Leeds player to start all forty-six championship games last season. He has missed one game this season against Hull City in August following his sending off against Middlesbrough.

Leeds look like having to make two changes in midfield this weekend with Michael Brown still struggling with the ankle injury, which saw him also come off in the first half at the weekend.
