LUFC Nottingham Forest v Leeds Head To Head

Vital Leeds United looks at the head to head record between Nottingham Forest and Leeds United at the City Ground through the years.

They have met on 41 occasions at the City Ground with Forest enjoying the most success with 17 wins to Leeds 7 and 17 draws.

The two sides have met on a regular basis since their first meeting in 1921.

On that occasion, Nottingham Forest won a Second Division clash 1-0.

Leeds had to wait until their fourteenth visit to the City Ground to record their first success.

Alan Shackleton scored a hat trick for Leeds in a 3-0 win to all secure their first double over Forest having won 1-0 at Elland Road earlier in the season.

Six of the last ten games between the two sides at Forest have ended in a draw.

Leeds are unbeaten in their last five visits to Nottingham.

When the two clubs met last season, the teams shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

Dexter Blackstock gave Forest an early lead before Lloyd Sam equalised for Leeds before half time.

It was an ill-tempered clash, which saw both sides fined by the FA following an altercation between Chris Gunter and Sanchez Watt, which saw members of both sides get involved.
