LUFC Grayson - O'Brien saga not disrupting squad

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson says the on-going saga with Andy O`Brien has not disrupted the squad ahead of the game with Barnsley.

O`Brien spoke to Grayson on the eve of the Burnley game last week and said he never wanted to play for Leeds again.

Grayson broke the news after the Burnley game and stated that he had played his last game for the club.

With the loan window closing this week, O`Brien is still at Elland Road and fans are concerned his negativity might affect morale in the squad.

Grayson says there is no danger of it affecting the players who are in good spirits ahead of the game with Barnsley.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Post, Grayson said, "No danger. As it stands right now, the squad are in good spirits and looking forward to a big game against Barnsley this weekend.
"They are disappointed with what has happened but these things happen in football from time to time."

Leeds United have yet to announce what will be happening with O`Brien following his decision to refuse to play for the club again.
