LUFC Pugh out with hamstring injury

Leeds United midfielder Danny Pugh was forced to miss the game with Burnley after suffering a hamstring injury at Leicester City, before the international break.

Pugh was not part of the sixteen players named by Leeds boss Simon Grayson for the game at Burnley and he is doubtful for the home game with Barnsley next Saturday. Grayson explained in an interview on Yorkshire Radio after the game, when he said, "He tweaked his hamstring in the Leicester game. He is responding to treatment but he is touch and go for next week."

Pugh was replaced in the side by Lloyd Sam, who was involved in Leeds equalising goal at Burnley when Robert Snodgrass met his cross into the middle at the far post.

Snodgrass scored again in the closing minutes to clinch the three points for Leeds.
