LUFC Mathieson in charge of roses clash
Scott Mathieson will be the man in charge when Leeds United travel to Burnley on Saturday.
The Cheshire official has taken charge of 16 games so far this season, showing 43 yellow cards (2.68 per game) and 1 red.
Last season he took charge of 35 games, showing 86 yellow cards (2.45 per game) and 2 reds.
This will be his second game in charge of Leeds this season having taken charge of the 3-2 home win over Crystal Palace in September.
He has also taken charge of Burnley already this season, when they defeated MK Dons 2-1 in the Carling Cup in September.

Honestly dont remember the ref from Palace game which is a decent sign (even with 4 bookings he kept himself in inconspicuous)

I really like Scott Mathieson. He was in charge of the QPR game last season. Remember see him on the Football League show when Warnock was having a go at him and he gave him a blast back. He's very experienced and does seem to referee with a certain level of common sense. He doesn't give out many cards, only two reds last season and an average of less than 3 yellows per game.
