LUFC Grayson delighted with response

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was delighted with the response of his players in the hard fought win at Leicester City.

Leeds went into the game on the back of a humiliating 5-0 home defeat by Blackpool in midweek and Grayson got the response he was looking for.

Speaking after the game, Grayson said, 'I'm delighted. We've been at both ends of the spectrum with a 5-0 thumping and then today.
'Wednesday was difficult to take, but I got the response I expected. It was a really good team performance.
'We were dogged, resilient and created some good chances. Leicester are a good team and we showed we have a lot of character and spirit amongst the group."

Leeds won thanks to a wonder strike from midfielder Adam Clayton, who picked his spot from 25 yards out to giver former Leeds keeper Kasper Schmeichel no chance in the Leicester goal.
